I'm Kara - A.K.A Mrs Sams. I am a qualified teacher with QTS, enhanced DBS and experience in teaching all year groups across Primary School age ranges. I am passionate about making learning accessible, interactive and fun.
I offer private 1-to-1 and small group tutoring to help your child increase their confidence and progress.
Confidence plays a vital role in children's learning. Whilst teaching, I have often heard children say that they are "no good at that" or "just can't do it". So, if you are looking to boost you child's confidence (and progress) in Reading, Phonics, Spelling, Writing or Maths, I can help by providing additional support to your child.
I have helped both Year 2 and Year 6 students prepare for SATs and Year 1 students prepare for Phonics Screening tests.

I believe that learning should be interactive and engaging. That's why I use a variety of teaching methods, including games, simulations, and real-life examples, to make learning fun and effective.
